As a UX / UI consultant, I’ve conducted user research and testing, developed wireframes and prototypes, helped manage Agile and Waterfall development pipelines, and performed in-depth heuristic evaluations according to client needs. I’m especially interested in projects that address pedagogical questions using equity-oriented learning and research methodologies. I also work with nonprofit and private sector clients with community-centric missions.
Some of the things I’ve worked on include: data storage and modeling tools for university use; digital archives and editions; multi-platform communications campaigns; and bespoke B2B web applications.

Project: “Inquisite,” a browser-based suite of data storage, modeling, and publishing tools designed to make data research and pedagogy more accessible to students and faculty in the humanities and social sciences
Responsibilities: generate wireframes & prototypes; conduct iterative site testing & user research; produce journey maps and copy for user-facing documentation; manage bug tracking; liaise with dev team & stakeholders
Project: “The Crane-Rychtarik Correspondence,” a digital archive based on the archival manuscripts of 20th-century American poet Hart Crane; featuring high-resolution facsimiles, manuscript transcriptions employing Text Encoding Initiative best practices, and contextual annotations based on research

Project: “Best for NYC,” a campaign launched by the NYC Economic Development Corporation in collaboration with B Lab (and later led by the NYC Mayor’s Office of Workforce Development) in order to help local businesses assess and measure their impacts in workforce development, worker QOL, sustainability, and other key metrics
Responsibilities: During my time as the project manager for the agency supporting the campaign’s creative development, I helped produce journey and experience maps for targeted businesses, generated wireframes and mockups for the multi-platform comms effort (incl. social media & email marketing and microsites), designed messaging, and built and deployed creative assets
